True Companion Veterinary Care was designed to provide outstanding, state-of-the-art, complete medical care for our patients, while at the same time, providing excellent customer service for our clients.
To that end, we have created extended hour appointment times Monday through Friday (9:00AM-5:30PM), with drop-off available at 7AM, and appointments on Saturday from 9:00AM-1:30PM.
We also offer complete Urgent Care/Emergency Care 7 days a week.
Patients that require hospitalization may remain at our hospital under the care of a veterinarian and support staff.

Dr. Groemminger
Although originally from the Carolinas, Dr. Groemminger is one of the transplanted Texans who aren’t native, but got here as fast as she could!
Dr. Groemminger graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of South Carolina, and then moved to Houston.
She worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a clinical research scientist before attending Veterinary School at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2005.
Dr. Groemminger has been a full time small animal emergency practitioner for the past 10 years, is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr Groemminger has maintained a strong interest in shelter medicine since in veterinary school and has been lucky enough as an emergency practitioner to also participate with most of the humane organizations in Houston, including the Houston SPCA, SNAP, Houston Humane Society, BARC and others as a relief veterinarian.
She has a strong interest in both internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Groemminger is a resident of Bridgeland in Cypress, with her wife Angie, four children, parents Joe and Rosie and her standard poodle, Izzy.

Angie Groemminger
Angie Groemminger graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Masters in Education.
She joined True Companion Veterinary Care with 5 years of management experience.
Angie has had the experience of having various animals from, rabbits, snakes, pocket pets, dogs and cats etc…. Prior to joining us, she taught and coached at Cypress Fairbanks ISD.
Angie also has great problem-solving skills, is detail-oriented, and she’s fantastic at trouble-shooting. Angie loves spending her free time with her family.
Trisha Murdock
Trisha joined True Companion Veterinary Care with 10 years of management experience. She has had various animals growing up including multiple species of reptiles, hamsters, guineas pigs, flying squirrels, chickens, ducks, fish, cats and dogs. Trisha has a considerable amount of animal care experience and an incredible love for animals. She has exceptional customer service abilities, competent leadership, excellent communication skills, positive attitude and strong work ethic. Trisha loves spending time with her boyfriend Corey, 11-year-old son, Jayden, 9-year-old daughter, Bailey and her fur babies which include 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bearded dragons, an iguana and multiple fish.
Storilynn Applegate
Stori joined our team with over 20 years of grooming experience and has 2 years of experience as a vet tech assistant. She has 5 beautiful fur babies named Zoey, Chopper, Scooter, Snow and Teddy. Her passions include spending time with loved ones and camping. Fun fact about Storilynn and her family, they are grand champion BBQ cook off award winners. She possesses a strong passion for all animals and is committed to providing high quality customer service.
Spencer Duckworth
Spencer joined our team with 3 years of customer service experience. He recently moved here from Utah and is happy to be in Texas. Growing up he had a multitude of fish, birds, guineas pigs and dogs. Spencer is in school to get his tech assistant degree and enjoys working with animals. He was previously an American Sign Language Interpreter and loves to spend time with his wife and daughter.

Kalee Manuel
Kalee joined our team with 4 years of customer service experience! Kalee graduated from Klein Cain High School in 2020. She was born and raised here in Houston Texas. First she started out at Chick-Fil-A and was there for 3 years! After some time, she then realized that she loves to help and serve her community (especially if they have fur babies!). Kalee gave veterinary medicine a try in May of 2020 and has been in the field ever since! Kalee has 2 dogs, a Dachshund (hot dog) as well as an American Staffordshire Terrier mixed with English Springer Spaniel. On her free time she loves to spend time with family playing Cajun card games and hanging out with friends. Kalee’s infectious smile and personality is perfect for our team.
Dr. Seelhoff
Dr.Lori Seelhoff grew up in Houston and graduated from The Kinkaid School in 1988. She attended Texas A&M University (Class of 1992 WHOOP!) where she was a proud member of the Parsons Mounted Cavalry, a specialty unit of the Corps of Cadets. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, then moved to Central Florida where she worked in small animal practice for 18 years. She moved back to Houston in 2014 to be closer to family, friends and Aggieland.
Dr. Seelhoff’s professional interests include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and animal welfare/rescue. Outside of the clinic she is actively involved in The Girl Scouts of San Jacinto equestrian program SPURS, the Houston Choral Society and St. John Vianney Catholic Church and is a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. She has several canine and feline “children”, who keep her busy and remind her of how blessed she is to be able to work with pets and clients.
